Friday 20th December| Today there were just two Eredivisie matches. FC Twente - RBC Roosendaal and the top match of today Roda JC - FC Utrecht. FC Twente - RBC Roosendaal 3-0 A simple win for FC Twente today. The club had just score 21 goals so far and their club goal scorer were Jurgen Cavens with just four goals. That Cavens has quality he already prove after 21 minutes, he scored the only goal before the break. FC Twente got several changes the whole match but forget to score. RBC Roosendaal couldn't improve at all. In the second half finally Thijs Houwing scored the 2-0. Some minutes later 17 year old Collins John scored his first Eredivisie goal. 3-0 and there have to be change a lot the coming winter break at RBC Roosendaal if they don't want to relegate. Goals 21' Cavens 1-0, 71' Houwing 2-0, 75' John 3-0. Yellow card: Van De Paar, Houwing (FC Twente) and Van Der Sloot (RBC Roosendaal) FC Twente: Boschker, Polak, Ouédraego, Heubach, el-Brazi, Cziommer, Van De Paar, Houwing (72' John) , Booth (62' De Witte), Cavens (87' De Visscher) en Grujic. RBC Roosendaal: Aerts, Hellemons (73' Piqué), de Graaf, Oliseh, Maseland (36' Van Der Sloot)(58' Ouden), Heije, Wooter, Fleur, Vos, Sillah en Nascimento. Roda JC - FC Utrecht 1-0 Roda JC is back on track. They struggled to win the last weeks and even give a way a 2-0 lead against FC Groningen last week. Today they could find back their form and play against FC Utrecht Coach Wiljan Vloet already stated he would change the team after the 3-2 defeat against Groningen. Eric Addo will be loaned from PSV (start from January) and other players will lose their place. Goalkeeper Kujovic and striker Iannis Anastasiou didn't play because of their bad form against Groningen. Bas Roorda and Gregoor van Dijk played. The whole match Roda JC was better. Sonko scored the well deserved 1-0. The attacker had to score a second goal too but failed to make if after a fantastic ball from Sergio. FC Utrecht let see something of their capabilities at the end of the match. They were unlucky with their chances which all had been saved by Roorda however Roda JC were better if you look to the complete match. Roda JC returned to the fourth place in the Eredivisie because of the 1-0 win.
