NEC beat RBC Roosendaal 3-0
Tuesday 17th December| Today there was one Eredivisie match. NEC played in Nijmegen against low flyers RBC Roosendaal. NEC, coached by former Dutch international Johan Neeskens, had a easy 3-0 win. All goals falled between the 60th and 70th minute of the game. Two goals were made by Yousouf Hersi. Mike Zonneveld made the other goal. Hersi is born in Ethiopia but moved to Holland as a young child. The midfielder were picked up by the Ajax youth acadamy and rated as a big talent. He played in the same teams as Rafael van der Vaart, main problem is that Van der Vaart is moved in the Ajax squad to the attacking midfielder position. In the youth Hersi always played there, Van der Vaart left or central on the midfielder. Last season Hersi were loaned out to NAC Breda this season to NEC Nijmegen. Hersi have chosen for the Dutch national teams and act currently in Holland U-21. Hersi is now top goal scorer of his club NEC with 5 goals. RBC Roosendaal have relegation worries as they are just on the 14th place of the league with sixteen points. Just three points more than the number 16 and 17 FC Zwolle and FC Groningen.
