South Korean international Park Ji-sung gave PSV a 1-0 lead at the break before Mateja Kezman doubled their lead on 57 minutes. Den Haag then proceeded to draw level with goals from Romeo Castelen (63) and Roy Stroeve (75), but Wilfred Bouma scored PSV's winner with seven minutes left to secure the three points for Guus Hiddink's side. Feyenoord will finish third after thrashing RBC Roosendaal 4-1 at De Luiten Stadion. Dirk Kuyt put the visitors in front on 18 minutes before RBC levelled two minutes later through Sammy Youssouf. Thomas Buffel made it 2-1 to the Rotterdam side nine minutes before the break and Feyenoord went on to secure the points with second half strikes from Patrick Paauwe (74) and Eby Smolarek (80). Gerald Sibon's strike with ten minutes left took Heerenveen into fourth in the table after a 1-0 home win over fifth place AZ Alkmaar.
